I'm liking this: https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/124133264#/ but the floorplan is nuts.
Doesn't seem that bad, I think I could live with it. Seems a decent price although it depends what they actually expect to get for it.
I thought each bedroom having its own staircase to nowhere was "interesting."

There are some lovely touches, though. Like the floor-level window on the first floor landing, giving the perfect framed landscape view as you come up the stairs. The Architect was strong on their "revealing" concept that day...
It's not to 'nowhere' though is it? It's to each bedrooms' dedicated dressing room.

Not the house, but that's the first David Brown Automotive GT I have seen outside of shows or DBA marketing.

I think the estate agent photographer thought the same with the 3 photos they took of it, you'd think it was part of the deal but it's not.
At least for £12m the EA put a bit of effort in. The house is okay if you like that sort of thing and want to be in London, but for me at that price I'd want a bit more frontage/sideage/backage (garden is over looked) and I don't miss the daily Abbey Road Beatle album cover throbbers on the crossing (it's around the corner) so yes to the car, no to the house for me.

Looks familiar, if it's the one I'm thinking of someone threw alot of money at it although Zoopla has:

18th Jul 2006-Last sold £500,000

ETA Zoopla link so don't have to put up with Savill water mark https://www.zoopla.co.uk/for-sale/details/61483765...

The staircases go up yo the attic rooms, all described as dressing rooms. Odd though.

I love that! The cinema room staircase is hidden behind a drinks rack too.

Re-post. It’s been on the market for quite some time I think.

Little wonder. It’s like a bad Stateside ‘mansion’

Love this place and a really good example of the kind of property & location that does it for me smile

Me too. Price doesn’t seem unreasonable either.

It’s not though. I put it up ages ago it’s Stewart Milne’s place ex Aberdeen chairman and Stewart Milne construction. Looks like he’s selling everything thing up.
As someone said Disney/Scottish

Looks like the generic number plate is double sided taped onto the normal plate.
Guessing that's David Brown's own house then? Not missing out on a chance to generate a bit of publicity!

Nope. He lives here in the Village, North Yorkshire.
Daily drinker and more in the pub etc.
I posted on here a good while ago about seeing 'the car', and since then the minis outsiude the house
(technically his daughters tbh)
