Yeah I get that back in the day but it's 12 acres not 1200, I think that's one of the reasons it hasn't sold not enough land for the size of house it's 25,000 sqft in total, it's a grand house missing its land.

I like this one, not cheap and pick apart the "blank canvas interior" as you will but it looks like a well planned out set up.

Manageable main house, entertainment barn, cottage annex, lovely grounds, garaging for 9 cars and a double height workshop complete with lift, all dotted around the 11 acres...nice.

It's rare that I do anything on this thread but lurk and critique houses silently to myself.. however this house is absolutely fantastic.

I've no idea about VFM for the area or if there's something heinous in close proximity, but on the face of it, I think that's pretty much perfect.

Lincolnshire, featured on Grand Designs from 2021 just come on to the market

that is rather nice and seems like staggering VFM (ok I'd not use the master-bedroom thanks to the moronic bath inclusion but the 'jack-and-jill' bathroom set-up would be excellent as a master suite yes )
Just me?

Would rather remind me of a pizza than a family mass murder by their own child!

Another +1 from me. What else do you really need at any price range!?

I bloody love that. Would do some stuff to the decor but live the concept.

Seems like a hell of a lot of house for 1M, is the location that bad?

Super-flat, intensive agricultural, and inasmuch as there is a wrong side of Spalding, it's on it. I'd rather be in one of the old houses in town near Spalding Grammar or over the other side of Spalding where the landscape gets a bit more interesting. And where there's some fantastic value for lovely manor houses, vicarages and the like. Spalding +10 miles catches lots of them.

I can think of worse places to hide. Seems quite pricey mind but maybe that's the cost of a spot like that
