Yes, original interior all ripped out and big red brick extension. The only grade II part must be the brick chimney in photo 35.

Laverstoke is Jody Scheckter’s place.

“With the children grown and gone, holding on to the estate feels “extravagant” to Clare [Scheckter]; she mentions that her energy bills shot up from £30,000 a month to £80,000 a month during the recent energy price hike”

I live down the road in Whitchurch, they have an interesting reputation around here.

There's a very dilapidated walled garden near that property, I'd love to have bought it. I doubt I could afford to do it up, sadly.

Edit: Just seen the walled garden is being used now, and is pictured. Ooof.

For sale since at least 2016. At what point does it stop being a "New Home"?

The owner has, or had, a McLaren F1 GTR in one of the big barns there.

With a lake like that slinging GSHP into it to heat the house would be my first job.
After a helicopter pad and 50 car garage, obvs.

...and they say the old racing drivers weren't paid much! He's made up for it in the later years.
Surely that £80,000 cost has to be annual not monthly? eek

Didn't he turn the small fortune he made from racing into a very large fortune by becoming an arms dealer or something?

Nope. It was a weapons training simulation business. So arms related, but he wasn’t exactly Viktor Bout.

He did the other butterfly roof house in Kingswear I posted a month or so ago.
Need much sympathetic restoration and I am totally in love.
My wife thinks it's the worst thing she's ever seen. Divorce papers already in the post.

I like the design of this too but it's too much money given the amount of work required and compromised plot. Also where have all the floors gone?

Would appeal to a single person, who has an idea of how to use the "meeting room"

And then there's this. I thought about putting it on the other list, but it really appeals. There's alot going on and you'd need a few skips, but if you had a PH type hobby, this might be for you.
