Diderot will remember me posting a stunning house in Bosham with 100 acres of ancient woodland having 800m of shore front...

The house is sold, and now they've put the woodland alone up for sale for over £2M!

https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/132686255

Methinks they might struggle with that.

It's OK though, when I win the euro millions tonight I'll give them a shout and buy both house and woodland and be very happy.
Yep, I do indeed. I’ll be first in the queue though. hehe
I'll let you camp in the woodland chap.
Ha!

It’s houses like the Chelsea one there which I always think of whenever the salary to be ‘wealthy’ but comes up on PH.

Hilarious how much money you need to truly live in a wealthy part of London, literally light years higher than anything you could imagine.
And there are streets upon streets upon streets of them all over town.

Who the fk has all this cash and where the fk does it all come from hehe

Even that ridiculous palatial gaff in Guernsey - who the hell's gonna buy that, and who's gonna buy the likely similarly enormous gaff they've moved from?!

Yes, I know, London, etc etc, and I do like it, but £20m? rofl
Crazy I know but..... browsing Rightmove last night I spotted a house two near identical streets away from where we moved from in 1997 - 26 years ago.

We sold at £104K and this was on the market at £1M. That is just f*****g madness.

Yep.

My office is in Chelsea and I often walk around the area.... the place is rammed with some seriously pricy property - off the charts actually. There will be many spots in London with similar hot spots. Chelsea has some real poverty too, it's an odd place.

I would never want to live there. I need open countryside and no neighbours. smile

You can keep the countryside and isolation and no traffic noise and no neighbours etc - plonk me down in this and I would be very happy.

Handy for pretty much everything you might ever want to do.

You would be annoyed if they blackballed you in the golf club!

This back on the market in Lower Nidderdale. Advertised last year as a newly completed house, now dressed up to look lived in ? Nice spot but not really my cup of tea. Seems devoid of any soul.

again I like aspects of it - but it is about twice as large as it needs to be...

I think living there would make you feel like you lived in a factory.

It looks a bit like discarded building materials.

fk me that’s Gaudi or should that gaudy? When I used to visit there a lot at the end of the 80s there were many glorious period properties. So many have been replaced with vulgar Oligarch’s mansions - it’s absolutely ruined the place.

House, nice but not really for this thread:

The car collection, however - perfect for the B-roads in that part of the world.

If you're on here, I laud your choices.

Factory of rad!

That lower ground floor is begging for a ramp down into it for filling up with cars and motorbikes.

I'm out of ideas on how to utilise the yard - a scenic go-kart track maybe.
