Driveway gates

I had a similar problem so made these for myself.
The 3 gates on the right are hinged together and open fully against the hedge with a support wheel on the end of the second gate. The single gate on the left is for the postman etc.
Brilliant, just what I'm after. I dont or wouldnt want to open them up down the side of the hedge, as there's a tree in the way in my front garden, but I think they could stack up and leave enough room to get a car in and out. Thanks for taking the time to post the picsThe 3 gates on the right are hinged together and open fully against the hedge with a support wheel on the end of the second gate. Thanks for the compliments. Because every part was custom made including the hinges they took quite a long time, lots of cutting, drilling welding and lathe work. Don't think I could find the time to make some more unless I jacked my job in, which is quite appealing in many respects. Think the banter that we have at work is the only thing that gets me through.
Doing a bit more research today, and looks like wooden ones are going to be too heavy for the height I want. I've decided that wrought iron bi or tri-folding gates should do the trick, local fabrication co are talking around £600 for the width I need (18 foot + 6 foot railings to cover the garden area)
Googled bi-fold gates & up pops pistonheads!
Anyone bought any wrought iron gates?
I'm pricing up 12ft wide bi-fold gate (40mm frame 16mm infills) with steel balls. Plus three matching rails 5ft wide.
All curving up in the middle, top height 5ft & galvanised/powder coated and fitted (Manchester).
Had 6 rough quotes (over the phone) half say £1k and the other half say £2k and not to touch the £1k companies with a barge pole because it's far too cheap for materials used.
Is this scare tactics or does £1k for the whole job sound way too cheap?
