Don't believe if you have your own cat then others will not poo in your garden. When my girlfriend decided to live with me she brought her own cat, great i thought no more cat poo in my garden. Well not only did the surrounding cats still use my garden as a kitty litter my new pet decided that its new abode would be a fine poo area....

Cats crap on the borders of their territory. If the border is in your garden, you have a beta cat laugh

It's not a cat pooping in your shed. It's me.

Same here, I've owned many cats over the years, all of which have enjoyed walking around on my cars.

Many years, many cats, many cars, not a single scratch.
But how many were going to St Ives?

They hate Citrus type of smells, so some of those big Citronella candles dotted around may dissuade them, as said a super soaker and they won't come back for a second try. The cats wont be scratching the car, why would it use its claws to walk on a shiny smooth surface, actually giving itself less grip when it has pads for this purpose. Unless you have a wooden car of course. Nor will the cat be stting in the shed, they st in your flowerbeds biggrin

Cats are utter bds. I caught one of mine asleep on a neighbours car the other day. They know full well what they are and aren't allowed to do and don't give a st. I used to spray mine with water if they jumped on our coffee table. Now they only do it when are aren't there.

As for other peoples cats I wouldn't mind them pissing on my car! Instead some new local cat discovered my cat flap and pissed in every corner of every room in my house! Thankfully an expensive microchip catflap solved that. For keeping them away from a car or garden I think you can get ultrasonic devices that deter them. Can't think what else you can do though.

That's what I like about them. If you want something to look up to you and show you respect, get a dog.

Being allergic to cats means I'm biased - but I have to say I bloody hate the horrid animals.

My one and only fleeting moment of soft top ownership was marred by one of the little buggers ruining the hood by curling up on it every day (being black and fabric, it held the heat). In a short space of time the hood was covered in white hairs and began to sag from the weight.

Also get them in the garden quite a lot and just recently one ruined an expensive duvet cover that was hanging on the line and it took it upon itself to piss on it. bd.

The pepper dust and sprays are ineffective.... as are those PIR ultrasonic sound thingies... I'd never really hurt them, but I would love to find a way to scare the little buggers off for good.

Could you use a garden sprinkler and a PIR? must be possible.

Sorry, I know it wasn't funny from your point of view, but as a cat lover, I can just imagine that. My boy cat would allow himself to be stroked by Edward Scissorhands if he was lying on something warm and comfy.

Started to sag from the weight! hehe

I bloody hate dogs they always want to hump you slobber all over the place. They jump all over you when your not it's owner and then the tts who let there dogs barking all night and early morning when im trying to get some sleep don't do anything about it. The last thing is dog st and owners not picking it up.

There you go balance restored.

note i do actualy like dogs but wouldn't own one due to being out between 9-10 hours a day but i do have a cat which i haven't seen since this nice weather we are having. As for previous posts my cat regulary jumps on my cars and sleeps on my mother convertiable car he has never scratched any of the cars and the roof on the convertiable is in same condition as when we bought it. Cats don't st and leave it they dig a hole and cover it over the only downside is that it brings back unwelcomed guest every so often.

Oh and cretins who go out and deliperately go out to kill cats by putting anti-freeze down or other poisions things to cat well i hope someone poisons you or your beloved dog, family member. Having to watch your cat being very close to death from anti-freeze poisions is one of the worst experience i have ever had to see.
