Sad news on bramble. frown it's amazing how attached you get to rabbits.
Thank. Certainly is. Poppy is eating, but a bit lost. I think we'll have to look for a companion when things get back to normal.

Hi all,

Can anyone recommend any reasonably priced indoor cages, preferably 2 tier?

We used a large dog cage that someone was selling cheap on gumtree. Cut some ply I had to make platforms/ramps etc.. and has worked fine for the last 5 years.

If you have a baby bunny they may possibly squeeze out between the bars as we discovered when we picked up a little one!

They've mostly been ignoring me as i've been working from home right next to them for the last 7 months. Darwin (the black one) spends 10 minutes or so chewing the bars of the cage at almost exactly 10am and 1030pm every day.

I like the dog cage idea for more space.. I'll hopefully be making her a more permanent home longer term and she will mostly be outside but we have found ourselves the custodians of a lovely rabbit who has unfortunately been terrorised by my colleagues children and dogs for a few months and in an indoor cage much too small.

We are due to move house sometime between now and Xmas so don't want to go too crazy with the set up until then.

Pics to follow...!

Is it Christmas yet?

When the bun is by the pigs pen he comes over and likes to sit next to him.

They get on well and when we put them together they groom each other (probably every other day for about an hour or so) they chase each other about (popcorning and Binkying), then the pig steals the buns hay and then snuggle up together.

Before we got him in feb he was kept in a small plastic cage and only fed nuggets for over three years. As such his teeth are in pretty bad shape and he doesn't eat hay at all, despite always having plenty available (we've tried dozens of types). We even tried limiting his food for a few days in order to try and force it but he just goes hungry. He likes veg, though can't have much per day as he gets very sloppy stinky poops.
