Just a tip for anyone who's unfortunate to find themselves in this same position. Get your details onto your local doglost facebook page asap. The post I wrote got shared 770 times to all sorts of local dog groups that I'd never heard of and it's amazing how many people are willing to help out.

This is Juno, my friend's 16 week old golden retriever pup who got spooked last night and ran off and she's pictured with the two fantastic women from a lost-dog search team who travelled to the village this morning and found her this afternoon. Result!
TBH, I don't really like people anymore, but when I read something like that, it restores my faith in people.Only if your a cow that's how they herd them. Cant talk nicely to a cow to get it to move when it doesn't want to.
Logan absolutely hates cows it's fascinating to watch him when he's sees them. Horses, sheep in fact any other creature not interested. He will chase rabbits and squirrels caught out a few squirrels out when they stop moving he loses interest.
They are let's say a little nippy as pups though.
Not a dog for a first time owner
