Out of interest, what tracker do you use, and would you recommend it as being good?
It was a cheap £11 one off AliExpress, it only does live when she's close by, but once she's refreshed on the map, you can see where she's been. She came in without it last week, she'd got snagged on a tree and popped the safety catch. I traced the last location using my phone and when the location centered on my phone, I called it using my phone and heard it bleeping in the tree and retrieved it. On the whole, I think it great for seeing where she's visiting. new kittens! When Stoopid (Merlin) died in April, a year after his sister we were gutted and knew we'd be getting another couple. Merlin and Miao were wedding presents we got as rescue kittens and they lived to 17 and a half and 16 and a half respectively. We planned on waiting til October, but when these guys were listed by a rescue centre repeatedly as they were struggling to find someone to take the pair of them, it felt like fate.
Meet Morph (my sister has a dog named Xeno) and Nya (whom I shall call Mrs Badger, family overrulling be damned!). The kids have never experienced the chaotic balls of energy that kittens are, so the amusement/bemusement factor is pretty high in the household right now (along with the how did that end up on the floor and where the hell have they disappeared to factors)

We have just had a bit of a showdown between Royston and Stumpy.
Stumpy is the cat that tried to adopt us just over a year ago, and the neighbourhood thug.
We initially thought he was a stray, as he looks a bit rough, and had been walking up the road, crying at every door. We call him Stumpy for obvious reasons. Next door call him Beetlecat, because if you say his name he appears.
We found out he lives in the next street, and his human calls him Ozzy.
Royston saw Stumpy through the window a few weeks ago while he was under new cat house arrest.
This morning, I heard a wailing from downstairs, and my OH was calling me down. The back doors were open, and stumpy has walked in.
Stumpy had his fur fluffed up and stood sideways on. Royston was watching from a distance, but seemed less bothered.
I took Stumpy outside, and shut the door. He continued staring through the window and caterwauling.
I took Royston upstairs to my OH and closed the door to her study.
I picked up by Stumpy and took him around the front. I tried stroking his head, and he jumped up and clapped both paws on my hand. He then went around the back and carried on until I pulled down the blinds.

Stumpy was hanging about a couple of days ago. I was walking back from the garage block and I heard a meow from a garden, I looked and it was him. He followed me and then went to look what our next door neighbour was doing in his front garden. He saw an open door and tried to get in.Stumpy is the cat that tried to adopt us just over a year ago, and the neighbourhood thug.

He then tried our house, so I decided to get him out of the way to avoid another showdown. I picked him up and he rested his chin on my shoulder and began purring. I walked to the alley behind where he lives, and he began to growl as I put him down. As I walked back, I realised my shoulder was soaked with dribble.
I was talking to the neighbour, who was curious as to how long he had been around. It has only been a couple of years since he started wandering along our road and crying at every door. I do remember seeing him in the next road when I moved here in 2020.
Yesterday I was running a couple of heating pipes from the loft to downstairs. There is a built-in cupboard in the box room I had to open up to access a cavity downstairs. My OH had it built after she bought the house in 2015, and thought she might have some photos of it being built to give me a clue how to open it up. She found the old house photos; no photos of the cupboard. She did find this amongst them though...
Doofus ( aka Smokey) out for a walk last weekend.....she is getting lazy, she didn't even get to the end of the road before making it known that was far enough.
