This handsome chap is actually one of the local strays. He’s so friendly that he has convinced all of our immediate neighbours to feed him. This can often lead to him coming into our house and eating Missy’s food ... which does not go down well with her!

I don't know whether to comment on the lah-de-dah fancy steps, or the deviant level of mirrors.

So instead I'll just post some pictures of sadly-departed & slightly retarded, Ripley.

A total tt.

And to give him some dignity...

I’m still decorating and playing with the mirrors. The cats have attacked the Peacock lamp several times. In the last hour alone.

RIP Ripley. Beautiful cat. Ragdolls(?) never age in my eyes.

I love this thread, I'm such a cat person. Been wanting to post a pic of my own Chairman Miaow but being the obligatory black cat, she doesn't photograph well.

Anyway, since I've had such a st week having had one of my lovely chicks put to sleep (see 'my eggs have hatched' thread) I need to vent some of this anger and rage.

Anyhoo.....

pics..

Caught her napping in one of the spare bedrooms. She does have that 'look' on her face, and indeed she hid in the house and woke me up at 1am, 3am and again at half 4. What she hadn't bargained for was that was on a saturday morning, so it didn't aggravate me as much as it would have done on, say, a wednesday.

Going completely insane at a pile of leaves I was drying out by the radiator. Seconds after I took the pic, she dived head first in to the leaves, tail twitching, paws batting around everywhere and frankly going a bit stir crazy, which is normal when she gets a frisk on.

She's annoyingly difficult to photograph, but I know one day I'll catch a stunning pic of her.

Have just returned from the vets having had to have my beloved 19 year old cat Jasper put to sleep and am in pieces. I chose him (well actually he chose me) at the Cats Protection rescue centre 7 years ago. He had been in there for months as a 12 year old black cat is not what many people want but he was the sweetest most gentle cat you could ever wish to find. RIP Jasper.

Good on you for taking in an older rescue and giving him quality of life, RIP Jasper

Sorry to read this.

Our last was a month shy of his 20th birthday when we had to have him put down.

They do get under your skin

RIP Jasper

RIP Jasper, very sorry for your loss Twig. Hugs from us, most on this thread know what you are going through. No consolation at the moment but maybe in time you may feel like giving another kitty in need a home. I hope so because Jasper sounded as if he knew what he was doing when he picked you. smile

And long live little Jasper, a great name for a beautiful black cat.

I've never had an iPhone (shudder) but it may have to do with which way you are holding the phone when taking the pic?

Crop them very slightly before posting. Has worked for me every time.

Similar to editing, I’ve been playing with paint. Left for fifteen mins to pick my lad up from the pub and appears I wasn’t the only one...
