Anyone else being gifted more mouse shaped presents than usual recently? Is it a seasonal thing?

Or is our cat just extra blood thirsty? It was 4 last week and we are at 2 this week already.
Yes, worryingly I had more top ends than tail ends when I tried to match them up yesterday. Not sure if the missing bits have been consumed or are hidden in the house somewhere

Beautiful!

Thor’s twin brother assuming his fuss position.

Pleased to say his sister, who went missing for 5 weeks post our relocation, is now fully settled in to Spanish life... also pleased to say that her former habit of slaughtering anything and everything that lives within a 1 mile radius seems to have abaited. No ‘presents’ have been deposited at the side of the bed so far.

I’ve had some issues with neighbouring cats - some bullying has been occurring as neither of mine are exactly brave. I’ve managed to dissuade at least one of the 2 bullies with a glass of water or 2, the 2nd is being a bit more persistent. Hopefully all will settle in due course.

Your cats are just beautiful Chris. Of course I am biased about Thor's twin but his sister has amazing colouring. cloud9

Managed to take a few of the other fuzzy idiots too.

Thank you Chris smile FYI, it's 7 before you get to mad cat person status, lets get that understood hehe

Feeding time is actually quite civilised. They all have their spot on the floor that they know is theirs. Although they can get quite shouty, they don't jump up whilst you are dishing out.

Some lovely creatures on here.

Had a strange encounter with a cat tonight. Driving through a new build area when I saw a cat in the road. Slowed down from my already “new build slow” pace and the cat just decided to sit there and stare out 2.5 tons of Freelander 2. Waited a while, and some more, then put handbrake on and moved my hand towards the door handle when Tiddles finally decided to wander off slowly between a couple of cars and continue the stare. I had to move forward really slowly to ensure it didn’t do something stupid

I dropped off my passenger, and bugger me on the way back the little sod was walking towards the road as I approached the same spot. I won this time... no I didn’t squash him/her/they (not sure how it presents, it is 2019 folks) I simply turned next left and took another route.

Having had a few cats, I wouldn’t see this as normal behaviour and kind of worry for him/her/they should some maniac who hates cats drive along frown

Lebowski loves walking with the dogs. He’s much more obedient too! Has learnt to lie down when traffic passes and sit while the dogs stop to pee on everything.
