Different cats eat different bits...one of mine leaves just the head and tail, another one never eats her kills (presents for us as he are obviously rubbish hunters) and the other one only catches birds. Horrible little buggers sometimes aren’t they!

I'd forgotten about this thread, lovely to see everyone's companions and sad for those who have passed. I think last time I posted in here we had 2, Bernard and Pudding.

They are half-brother and sister. Towards the end of last year we were joined by Elsa, Pudding's mother, who was retiring from breeding after her second litter. She has settled in fantastically and has helped the others be much more confident/adventurous. She does, however, always seem to disapprove of me!

First two kittens leave at the weekend. I’m happy for their Furever families but it’s bitter sweet as they have been amazing. So loving, I’ve taught them not to bite and scratch and enjoy belly rubs, sit and high five. I’m going to bloody miss them. A lot.

I want to rescue and love as many kitties as I can. I have some plans and the hardware to extend the Catio and have thought about how to give them the run of the garden and house whilst being safe. So if you’d all like to send me your cats it’s a PE19 postcode. Thanks in advance.

Jeffree and Minnie will have their cases packed tonight with lots of goodies and will finally meet their PH new family on Sunday

Bengals are low allergy. Granted you then have a Bengal in your life with all that that entails but they're worth it IMO smile

yeah we have certainly looked into "better" cats for allergies - watch this space....
Most be something with ginger cats we have a male ginger cat in the street the most laid back cat ive ever know loves a fuss and a belly rub. Also has a dog friend in the street a golden spaniel they like best mates.
My cat a tuxedo cat you dare touch his belly or your hand would be torn to bits.

They are both currently sat on the windowsill looking out into the world.

After Jeffree and Minnie went to their Furever homes on Sunday, tonight was Sebastian and Clara’s turn to start their next adventure.
House is so quiet despite still having five cats. No thunderous paws from above, no swinging curtains or mouse toss. My friend cried for me tonight when I put them in their carry cage. But I’m happy they have loving families to go on and terrorise.

Clara

Thank you. They left with a big bag of goodies each including a book how to teach your cat tricks, a blanket or two, food, litter, treats, toys and some other bits and pieces. I even packed suntan cream for the white kittens.

Had lots of feedback, photos and videos about how well they’ve settled in, their good behaviour and their manic playtimes.
I went to see Sebastian (now named Bowie) and Clara again last night and they recognised me which was heartwarming.

Bader (Dad) is missing them loads and has been wrapped up sleeping with me every night after looking for them, throwing toys about waiting for them to come out and play.

So I’ve treated them all to a new Catio toy...

Lebowski was the first to explore it in typical Bengal fashion

Bader last night trying to figure out how to make the horse go giddy up

Not sure I'd have been comfortable letting the cat get that close to the mouse!

With our two this would have resulted in eviscerated mouse being spread liberally all over the garden. They also do the same with rabbits, voles, shrews, and anything else that's smaller than they are. It's amazing how far rabbit guts can be spread around the garden.

After living wild for a long time Tip , as in top of ear missing , would never be photo'd as above . He hunts all sorts ,even squirrels , and even stands his ground with the red deer that pass through daily .

As dour as he looks he's actually a very affable cool cat .

This was her previous effort (not suitable for the squeamish)....

Normally she just eats the smaller ones. This one just seemed to have her captivated.

That's actually quite neat. Our two take great delight in taking their prey to pieces and spreading them around. Or 'booby trapping' them such that when you pick up the dead animal some bits fall off or fall out. My wife won't touch any of their kills now, preferring to leave it to me or the kids(!!!)
