I tend to pick up kitten accidents with a baby wipe, wash with biological liquid if needed then use a then use a mix of bicarbonate of soda and white wine vinegar to neutralise any smells. Don’t use any bleach based products as this won’t mask the smell and just enhance it. Febreze is a gimmick in my opinion.
Biological liquid, like you'd use for a laundry washing machine? If so, that would be a good idea, I might make a ip mix in a spray bottle.
The Dr. Beckman stuff either does not ship to here in Ireland, or shopping is very pricey. Thx folks.
Yes as in washing powder. It breaks down the fats in urine that create the smell. This is quite a good guide for an idea

Appreciate that, I imagine the bio liquid would be gentle on the carpet.

I second this, we've saved some light grey carpets from all manner of cat and child related accidents over the years, works very well every time. Once or twice we've had to go back over a stain a second time but it's always sorted it out then. Just pick up whatever it is (I also use baby wipes for this), blot up any wetness on the area with dry kitchen roll or similar and then apply this and scrub with the brush on top. Allow to dry and then hoover the carpet, job done.

Thank you love
It’s a shame I couldn’t get them all in one photo wink Bader is really the only adult cat who loves to spend time with the fosters. He’s a bit Grandpa Mason especially when it comes to kittens. He loves to groom, clean (stimulate bathroom), sleep and play with them. He’s a wonderful teacher so they’re learning fantastic social skills. He also lets them eat before finishing any leftovers.

I’m currently weening the (not at all now) feral neonates and they’re litter trained now too. They will stay with me until they find their furever homes. This will be from around a month on from now.

Bentley. Epitome of the perfect Tabby in looks. Very chilled, likes company, somewhat bewildered by the world still. The tiniest of all. A complete sweetheart.

Mathilda. Looks to kill for. Such a pretty young lady with a painted face and her eyes still blue. Mathilda has the loudest mouth! She can meow to wake the dead. Very loving, climbs up in to my lap, under my chin for cuddles whilst purring. Taking her time to decide she doesn’t want to be bottle fed.

Maude. Maude is a filthy girl who has no table manners. She slurps her food after diving head first before lying flat in it. Thankfully she doesn’t mind a wash and blow dry before bed. Maude kisses on the lips and wakes me up doing so (she has a suckling issue). She loves to sleep with me and follows me everywhere. Maude makes a great ‘Tap to Tidy’.

3 weeks into life with a new kitten. Was advertised as a Bengal/Tabby mix but no idea if that's true or not. Markings all over the place and completely non-symmetrical which is kind of cool. Anyhow, she is pretty cute and friendly when not tearing around the house like a lunatic.

In all seriousness - his farts are powered by the "Dark Side" and have been known to cause birds to fall out of trees they are that lethal !

Our old cat Boris, sadly now deceased, only ever farted audibly once. Otherwise they were SBD. Unless, of course, they were ultrasonic in which case my aged ears would have missed the warning. Always keep a magazine handy to fan the gasses away!
