Love the snow leopard Kes.

Bruce is obsessed with Eleanor the Tortoise. He will lie on a little Velvet Cocktail viewing chair and watch her for hours. As soon as her pen door is open he’s in. I’m not sure Eleanor is quite as enamoured with Bruce.

Frida, PD and I in a Mexican stand off earlier

Bader has perfected Sit, High Fives, Shake Paws and Lie Down now without any treats or pretend treat involved. His reward it seems is my happiness.

And finally got Bruce out of Eleanor’s pen

I did think about photographing her in the snow but she’s such a delicate Princess.

No central heating as new boiler half installed! Gas fire on for the first time in years. The cats approve.

This little chap joined the family a couple of weeks ago, it's been about a year since my 17 year old cat died and, I'll be honest, I've struggled to move on and get another but my daughter has missed having a pet so much during lockdown that it felt right.

She's named him "Toto", not after Totoro as I initially thought but Toto Wolff because for some reason she really likes him from watching the F1 with me (Hamilton is her favourite driver). If he's being "naughty" I just hear her calling him by his full name... "Toto Wolff, don't climb up my leg please"... Its a bit weird.

Anyway here he is... 14 weeks.

Gorgeous. He will probably turn into quite a chunk like our girl, here being lockdown "knee-dy":

Did he have blue eyes until recently ?

She's a lovely, if serious looking, lady smile

No blue eyes, just faint yellow that's brightening by the day, photos from the breeder when he was tiny seemed to be pale yellow too but she only had a potato camera apparently.

He's definitely growing, I just hope that with it comes a decline in leg climbing and attempts to eat my toes as it's quite manageable whiles he's tiny but probably less so as he gets stronger.

Despite Bruce being neutered yesterday his love for Eleanor has not waned. After jumping in the bath with her previously he now lies on the side watching before she dries off and has a wander when he will lie with her and roll around expecting her to play!

These two aren’t going anywhere. Bruce has Maine Coon heritage. He’s going to be a big boy! And so loving (even the vet asked if I was keeping him).
