Just picked up Theo, my Ragdoll kitten.

Already settled in after about two hours l, loves playing and fuss.

Just need to get him to stop reaching i to the Guinea Pig’s cage and we’re pretty much set!

Sitting here cuddling toffee, a brown Burmese aged 14. He’s dying. He’s not in pain, that’s obvious, but I don’t expect him to last the night.
Is Toffee still with you?
He is, yes. He looks ‘tatty’, and has dull eyes, but he’s had something to eat. He seems desperately thirsty, which suggests a kidney problem on top of the ‘lump’ thing, so he’s sitting in the bath with a slow running tap he’s drinking from. He won’t drink from a bowl.
Paws crossed for Toffee & you xx

Vets tomorrow. He still doesn’t seem to be in any pain, more discomfort (and I again stress that if I thought he was in any pain it would be a 24hr emergency vet). We’re having to lift him up to the sink to drink as he won’t drink from a bowl, and is getting a bit ‘staggery’/clumsy.

He is scheduled a biopsy for his neck on Tuesday, but it’s pretty obvious he wouldn’t survive it. We’ll work to the vets advice tomorrow, but in a weird way when he wouldn’t wake up for a bit on Friday night, we kind of hoped he’d just died in his sleep, if that make sense.

Pic of the handsome little man.

The Krays wouldn't dare try to off her, though!

Too risky.

A feral colony has been reported. First proper visit tonight resulted in these two vicious little spitters rofl they really think they’re tough cookies. Good job I like a challenge.

Not keen on the bottle so I’ve syringe fed tonight which went well along with toilet stimulating. Milk made up and will attempt bottle again in the morning. Skunk kits are off to their new homes at the weekend, bar the female smile so these two will keep me busy. Vet appointment Thursday. Paws crossed for them. (There’s every chance they won’t return. Several reasons, including the nurses will want to hand rear themselves). So I won’t get attached, you know, like letting them sleep in their crib with me… Will update if anyone interested.
