After 6 months break from being slaves, we've decided we want to be covered in cat hair and have punctured legs again, we are in the process of adopting an older lady. We were toying with getting a younger cat, but I'm nearly 60 and my wife is mid 60s. This delightful specimen is 10, so plenty of life left in her. biggrin

Beautiful Calico

Ours was the most friendly cat.

My calico is a complete schizo. She’s a tiny thing and super cuddly/fussy. She also mad a bucket of frogs, scared of the dark (and her own shadow), but will kill anything she can catch.

Love her to bits… though not so much when she demands attention at 4am by standing on my head.

laugh the rescue shelter says she is very affectionate until she's had enough, then she'll swipe you. biggrin

As long as the tail twitch gives away the swipe before it arrives I'm always fine with that

Both my tabbies and my previous witches cat had the same issue when they'd had enough they would show it but there was always a tell so most of the time you could stop before blood was shed

Our previous Calico was a feisty madam, however she was 20 with only one tooth when she died, she gave you a nasty suck.

I wouldn't mind, we donated all of our cat stuff to the rescue where we're adopting the new one from, we've spent about £200 in the last 2 days replacing all the stuff we donated. biggrin
