Hah! I'm not sure 5 would be acceptable. Pads likely has a virus so immune-system boosting jabs yesterday, tomorrow and again next week. The blood was likely a factor of too much sneezing causing damage tot he passages. Also the vet cleaned his ears which were minging. I have the pleasant task of trying that again this evening as he put some gel down the canal to dissolve the wax there. How pleasant!

This is a bit tough to type.

Willow.

She had a large Tumour removed around 3 months ago, it took quite the while to heal and she had to wear a hood for around 5 weeks.

Last weekend was very warm up here so we assumed that Willow wasn't eating all her food because of the heat. (A couple of Mrs Nemesis's Friends had mentioned their pets were not eating too).

By Monday she was eating half of her normal amount, yet, seemed Her normal self,
Mrs Nemesis was taking pictures of Her laying on the garden chair in the sunshine.

Tuesday she didn't touch Her food and didn't come to us in the morning, she spent most of the day in the spare room so we rang the Vets who gave us an appointment for 4.15pm on Wednesday.

Wednesday, I tried feeding her by hand, her favourite cat food, Tuna, you name it, she also didn't want to drink anything. She did get out of the room a couple of times but she kept stopping, laying down and breathing heavily.

The vet examined her and told us to bring her in at 8am Thursday morning (today) Willow would have to be sedated before a examination due to her biting and scratching him previously.

Last night (Wednesday) She had got to the point that she was falling on her side if she tried to walk anything more than 5 foot I would estimate. After jumping off the settee and walking over to the window, she looked at it and fell over panting and breathing heavily for nearly an hour.

Myself and Mrs Nemesis slept all night in the living room with her.

This morning Willow again walked towards the Window looked up at it and laid down, so, I picked Her up and put her up there, after a short while I took her in the Garden and walked around with her for a good 10 minutes.

We arrived at the Vets a good 15 minutes before opening and the Vet saw me standing outside and opened the Door, I told him how she had deteriorated a lot in the last 16 hours, we had a brief conversation about him examining her before he X rayed her, then left.

Mrs Nemesis got the call 45 minutes later saying Willows Heart wasn't working well and he also could see a large lump. (we had also noticed this 2 days earlier, I forgot to mention this). He said it there was no real point in X raying her and should he proceed with what we had discussed

Willow was PTS around 9.45 am. She was 10 years and 2 Months old.

This morning at 7.16am

When we'd had her about a Month.

4 years old here.

Willow with Millie who we lost last October aged 21 years and 2 Months.

Myself and Mrs Nemesis have had 4 Cats together over the last 38 years, I'm sure everyone has said this before but the House is so empty.

I don't know or want to say anything else, I cannot put into words how I (we) feel.

This guy just keeps getting bigger! 1 year and 1 month old and already over 7kg!

Definitely by a margin our biggest cat, and we have an adult male Ragdoll, and apparently the largest cat our cattery has ever had stay with them!

His super powers are, wet kisses, being the sweetest cat ever, and catching bumble bees (yes really).

RIP Willow - our Kit went across the rainbow bridge a couple of years ago at a similar age. Despite two new cats he's still very much missed

RIP Willow.
I feel for you BN.

We lost our awesome four legged boy Chenko suddenly last December.
Repainting a garden fence yesterday, the top of which had loads of his claw marks in it - I got properly chocked up seeing the scratches and remembering him taking great pleasure in wrecking my handiwork.
I left a patch unpainted

Best thing we did was adopt a rescue soon after. He s not a replacement but a whole new kind of fun, frustration, love and affection.

The new boy.
