It's Caturday- Post some cats (vol 3)
Discussion
I would like to say thank you to everyone who has commented and read about Willow, it has meant a lot.
I would also like to apologise to others that I have not commented on the death of their pet. It used to upset me so much that I didn't feel like anything, I could say would help. I was wrong.
Its time for me to say goodbye to Willow, I've grieved for a full week and it's drained me so much I feel ill, I've not been sleeping, not eating well, so it's time to give myself a slap, pull my pants up and move forward for my own sanity.
I watched the final Two episodes of Dexter last night and while watching I was thinking to myself its time to say goodbye in my head.
I went to bed and said to Mrs Nemesis "I'm saying goodbye to Willow tomorrow". I had a really good sleep last night and feel a lot better today.
This is Willow last year on the 18th June, She was PTS on the 19th June at 9.45am. As usual, she would be where ever I was.

You obviously love cats (as per most of us in here)… go rescue one (or 2… 1 is never enough)… not as a replacement for Willow as nothing could replace her, but so many kitties need a loving home and you can clearly give them a better life… plus will be an outlet for you I would also like to apologise to others that I have not commented on the death of their pet. It’s not an insult to willows memory.

100% this. For some reason when my Fat Charlie died (old age) I waited ages before getting Little Charlie. All I did there was go without a cat and leave a cat for longer in a shelter.

Then Little Charlie got run over and it broke my heart. But luckily two senior cats, sisters turned up. Their mum had died and nobody wanted them. They’re the best cats I have ever ever had. The most loving little (I say little… one of them is 8kg!) limpets ever. After last time they’re not allowed out unsupervised, but they have a secured courtyard area with plants etc for sunning.
They’re like real life cuddly toys, but they do fart a bit.
So don’t get too morose BN - there’s lots of cats need loving homes that I’m sure you will provide.
Personally I’ll always go for senior cats again - especially if they come as a set. Can’t have too many fat cats!
Luna is a beautiful fluffy girl!
8kg is a proper chunk (don’t tell her I said that!)
Moo and ‘grumpy’ just being cats.
My little girl is super clingy at the moment… particularly around bed time… waits for me to come to bed then straight in for head scratches. Shes there all night… any time I turn over she’s there, purring away asking for fuss.
