Sorry for your loss and there will be a time when it feels right. For us it was between 6 and 9 months and we always felt the best way to honour our friend was to give another rescue Dog a home ( we only do rescue Dogs 6 so far).

He is the spit of my cocker.

His Dad was Larford Evan.

Do you know the history of your new lad?

What's his name?

He's a sprocker, albeit a rather large one!

No history as he's a rescue, he's 11mths old & started life in Wilts area.

Great post - keep us updated smile

Would love to see a photo of Woody - I think Trailhounds are gorgeous.
I will start my own thread later today (I think there may be one on here from a while ago - I'll have a look and if not will start a new one!). We have in the last week re-homed another rescue, who is causing all sorts of mayhem!

He's Arlo & he's a rescue 11mth old Sprocker.

Pulls on the lead & jumps up but both easily trained out, other than that he's a real gem & such a heartbreaker!

Will work on the above & his recall then he can be off the lead & the real fun will start smile

Thanks. He was a very popular dog in the village. Everyone loved Charlie :0)

He used to sit outside the local pub and say hello to everyone who came and went...
