Barry was on my lap, here is a photo of him from yesterday in the same position:

Daphne went missing today; the wife was out walking Barry and Daphne and as they do, they disappeared off into the woods, however Barry came back without Daphne.

It was 16:30 and getting dark, the wife sent Barry back off to find her "go find Daphne, Barry" he would shoot off but come back a few minutes later by himself, this went on for about 20 minutes, it was getting dark and the wife was getting worried, I was gearing up to leave work to come and help with the search.

All of a sudden a faint barking could be heard, Barry shot off and returned with her, it was a huge relief.

Upon returning to the car park with them both, a woman told the wife that she had seen Daphne running around, ears down and looking petrified, she tried to grab her but Daphne ran off.

I am so relieved, Barry tends to shoot off and is followed by Daphne, they always come back together, however lately they've been going off for longer and I've always worried more about her as she is still quite young.
Poor Daphne!

Lucky Barry was there to save the day!

I know what its like too, Rocco made a great escape from the garden of an apartment we rented in Hungary not long ago, luckily the building was surrounded by an outer fence but it took us some time to find him, he knew which door we stayed in on the first day there so was a bit worried when he wasn't coming back.

After some time I went to the top floor of the building to find a worried looking frenchie at the top of the stairs, think he just went exploring, found the main entrance open and went inside then up the stairs, then couldn't get back to us when we were calling. He normally never barks at anything but he did when he heard me coming up the stairs, was also a huge relief!

We were starting to think he'd been taken as we had checked everywhere, was about to go all Liam Neeson hehe

Ive been slightly suspicious of strangers taking interest since a young Chinese couple at a dog show/exhibition we were at kept following us around taking lots of photos of Rocco, saying his colour was unusual, they even commented he would be worth 10k euros in China! Short leash that day laugh

Someone's feeling sorry for himself. The vet things he's developed an allergic reaction to something and he's managed to chew through a bit of his tail, he's regretting that decision now.
Our Frenchie also developed an allergy but luckily no tail to chew! He was scratching a lot though, so much we had to put a hoodie on him all the time to stop him hurting himself!

Think we narrowed it down to his food when he switched from puppy to adult version, he seems ok now on his dry food made from Horse meat! The vet told us it was hypoallergenic and seems to be working for him at the moment, will start testing different meats soon to check what is causing it.

Any idea what yours is from?

His anti-itch hoodie, was actually bought for him when he was much younger last year to keep him warmer during winter, so a little on the tight side now! Seemed to love wearing it though laugh

Now you remember what the draft man said
Nothing to do all day but stay in bed
You're in the army now
Oh, oh you're in the army, now.

He also sometimes falls asleep like this sat on the sidearm of the sofa, i'm sure hes going to fall off one day! His head slowly lowers until he wakes himself or we move him onto the sofa to avoid him face planting off the edge! laugh

Maybe we need to get another to rest on like yours wink
He is very much like my Jack, very nice dog. Have you ever studded him out ?

Yep he's a WHV - 10 months old now....complete nutter but I love him to bits. He's hard-work as he needs lots of physical and mental stimulation, but such a lovely character - proper velcro Dog. You can never go to the loo alone with a Viz hehe

Off for his 1st session of Gun Dog training tomorrow morning !

Moo dog being old at the beach. She can still get a shift on for a 15 year old with stiff hips.

I love them, my wife thinks I'm odd as I usually spend 10mins a day giggling like a schoolgirl while looking at gifs (usually) on r/RarePuppers
