Went for a stroll round St Catherine's Hill near Winchester this evening. We parked in the wrong carpark, walked through some weird hippie camp and fell over. Great success. View wasn't too bad.

This is Snoopy. He has just taken early retirement from Irish guide dogs.

He is under 7 and the vet reckons he only has 20% vision. Oh the irony!

We are fostering him until a suitable home can be found for him.

He will make a fabulous pet.

He seems to be settling in despite our two dogs and one cat.

Well done for fostering dogs, especially service dogs which need a good home after working.

Really taken with Snoopy and wondering if my parents might be interested in adopting as they were just talking about getting a second dog . They are semi-retired in County Mayo, I see you're in County Clare. Might be serendipitous. Is there a link for Snoopy that I can send to my parents?

So we’ve added to our family with Bruno. Not my first choice but he’s got load of character and he’s interacting really well with Freya. Think she’s trying to mother him...

I was worried about how they’d get on by they’re fine...he just follows her around and has already copied her in sitting down for treats etc.

I also kinda get why people get dogs that I was always ‘that’s not a dog’ about... he’s so easy to keep.
Love Bruno, how old is he?

^ Snoopy looks lovely, he looks like he needs hugs and I would definitely oblige smile

Just about recovered after a busy Sunday of looking after a friends 2yr old lab Archie. Arnie had a great time running after him, he had to have a nap after our first short walk while I took the big lump for another 3 miles round the countryside and I'd done about 5 miles before 11am wobble
We all had a lunch time nap biggrin

Hi. No link but have sent an email to the rehoming officer. I will let you know when I hear back.

Snoopy is our first foster although we adopted an ex guide dog in the UK.

He has settled in brilliantly.

Do your parents have an enclosed garden?
