^^^^^ "It wasn't me who ate the cookies". hehe
It's usually, "it's not me who went through the bin" with her nose all covered in bin stuff!!
Mine gave me a similar look at the beginning of the week. However I didn't get a photo of her as I was taking a photo of the rather impressive mess...I swear to god my back was turned for five minutes max.

Yeah, that's how I get frustrated with jigsaws too. She probably couldn't find a corner piece to start.

hehe I never thought about it from that aspect. Lack of thumbs would make it tricky.

Freya at 6am this morning...coming up to nine months old.

She looks good! Where did you get her from?
smile

Long story https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...
Ahh yes, I remember now. She looks more lab like now! (btw my ex vet nurse friend bought a 'male' pup, it took our vet friend to correct her, needless to say she got well and truly ribbed for that one!) quite the back story (imported from Ireland I guess) all good now though thumbup

I still get stick about it too. Well deserved and I'd be relentless if it was the other way around with any of my friends. She's doing really well and our entire household revolves around her smile

Blue Heeler/Aussie Cattle Dog?
If yes are they pretty rare in the UK?

Common in rural areas out here but not in metro/suburbs.

Yes blue heeler and yes very rare in the UK only a couple of breeders around.

Hamish on his first 'proper' walk- not his morning and night walk around the villas, but a good walk around (and in!) the local lakes.
Spent a good hour off the lead, he realised that swimming isn't his forte, but relaxing by the edge is fine.
Since we got him he has gone from 8.6kg to 13.5kg, is wonderfully affectionate, great with other dogs, is responding to training very well, and basically just a happy soul. A completely different dog to the one we took on just a few short weeks ago. Love him to bits.

Henry is now 5 months old this weekend and is growing quick. We had to take him to the vet this week after he injured his front leg. Our border, Rosie , has a habit to B line through the house and not realise Henry is getting faster and runs along side her. Cue, her skimming the door frame and Henry impacting it !! Lots of noise and hobbling around. Luckily nothing broken , but quite a swollen leg. The vet nurse said 'oh what a lovely Patterdale, I have 2 myself' and the vet said , if he was a betting man, he would say he was a Patterdale as well. So, we have changed his details from the border terrier cross jack russell to a Patterdale now. He's getting better with less discomfort and we have today bought a dog sofa , which is a large bed, for them both to sit in as I never seem to have room for me on my own sofa.

Hehe, well done. The things we do for our dogs. :-)

We've been walking the wolf around the "big city" (local towns Ambleside and Keswick) to socialise as much as possible, she definitely takes a few folks by surprise. Even have a few asking if she was a Coyote. I might start telling people she is "sea coyote", she loves splashing around in it.

What a brilliant picture, I would love to use that as a screensaver!!

^^^^^^ I wouldn't trust either Daphne or Barry off lead in a similar area, they'd probably slip and fall in the water.

I remember when Barry was a puppy and we were out by the river, he was off lead and I heard a faint "plop"; he'd fallen in, I had to kneel down and fish him out.

Holly fell into the Basingstoke canal when she was around 6 months old, it cured her of any desire to swim wink She will paddle, but only as deep as her chest - if the water gets any deeper than that then she chickens out. When she sees other dogs swimming the expression on her face is almost 'why on earth are you doing that?' wink

Oh she's already fallen in and so has he. Both very strong swimmers.

Logan loves swimming he lives for it. Likes it even more than his yellow ball.

Logan doesn't explore like that he stays to the paths or just behind me. Jean must explore everything and go everywhere

They manage ok in water

No different excitement she managed to pull so hard on her lead she broke her collar it then slipped out of it.

Out of interest did he launch himself into the water?
