I confess that after seeing your photos I thought these two were bigger/taller than they are! My old Corgi cross weighed around 20Kg. Do you reckon there is a genetic link to Corgis (which were also cattle herding dogs) or perhaps the Swedish Vallhund?
Apparently not according to all the various researchers into ‘halls healers’ the latest and most believable suggests the books have got it wrong for years after they looked into the diaries and family records of the breeder.

Can’t remember exactly now been a while since I read it.

A lot of people thing they are bigger that they are, they are taller than corgis but not much.

Logan is 19 inches to the shoulder

Not a picture, but a drawing our daughter did of Oscar.
She gave it to us as an Xmas present. I'm biased of course, but I think she's done an awesome job !

My wife got it framed, looks fantastic

Aww how lovely. That’s a great present. Your daughter is talented.

This is Ritzo. He’s 11 weeks old. I couldn’t convince his owner I’d found him abandoned outside the supermarket and he’d be better of coming home with me. Unfortunately.

I say he. Ritzo is being raised gender neutral. I love him sooooo much.

She might only weigh 20 kg but it hurts when she hits you at speed
Mrs R tells me that 88kg is a bit of a handful to get out the way of as well.

Lovely. Don't see too many brindles about.

True. My previous 3 Danes were all Blue. This one was from a litter of 6 brindle boys and 1 fawn girl.
He instantly got the name PJ since he looked like a Blue Dane wearing stripey Pajamas smile

Another longish trail run with the wolf today. She is such an amazing running partner, just cannot tire her out..
