My boy Barney...had him since he was 8 weeks old....14 1/2 years later he's still with me..and like me....greying slightly around the edges smile

Brilliant photo, something about Lab's when they get into their older age and they become happy ploddy dogs and if we had the space we'd be the owners of a young lab rather than our little gremlin Cavalier pug doug. Same to SPR2 Chloe looks a happy hound too. We had a mutt with a bit of everything in him when i was a kid, he got past 7 and upto his final days was just the happiest walking dog going, wouldn't go too far was just glad to be out on the explore with you without any of the drama of meeting other dogs and people and the need for new attention.

As for the jumping/floating/gliding/flying/skimming dogs, please keep it up, kept a big smile on me and the partners face, hope it's keeping everyone else entertained too. Daschund airlines is the girlfriend's fave, but im stuck on quite a few of them. Rumblestripe's antiship-hound missle looks quite good, coming in low just above the surface, bet they're hardly radar detectable either. The flying whippet made me chuckle too, thanks for all the pictures.

Pesty, what are your dogs? I love their stockyness and their coat.

Our dobe works things out but actually understands when spoken to. Our Boston terror was awol and our Odin was sitting next to me. I said where is Murphy? So Odin trotted off, came back with the puppy tiny chew bone, placed it at his feet, gave his usual attention bark, the Murph appeared Odin then picked the tiny bone up quickly and then dropped it to get the terrors attention of which he ran flat out to get his chew bone. Odin looked up at me and with his kinda chatty growl kinda said "there you go" smile
40kg of Doberman versus 6kg of Boston and Odin is as gentle as you could ever wish for. The puppy loves him too which helps. Our lab who I thought would be more gentle is too rough and too quick to growl at the pup bearing in mind she taught Odin the ropes since he was 8 weeks old. Odin is 3 now and I would be happy to breed from him if the opportunity ever arose in the future.
