Just come back home after looking. The weather is against us, if he is out there then he will likely be hiding.

Starting to feel like we have lost him forever now. frown

Yeah. We felt the same way about ours. Just before she showed up on the doorstep ...

Don't give up on lost cats. It seems that sometimes they can be lost for months or years, but the majority come back later if not sooner. We have a friend who lost her childhood cat for 6 months once, but he was a right as rain when he came home.

Carry on looking. You are doing the right things. Fingers crossed, you'll see the ball of fluff again.

I'm going out in a bit to look. I'm knackered and emotionally drained as his being lost is pretty much consuming my thought processes. When we missed the sighting by 5 minutes last night I thought we would find him, but no such luck. It really was upsetting. Mrs TAD's family are helping us tomorrow so we will be flyering the whole area hopefully.

It's just baffling. Last Saturday we were out all day from 7:30am until 7:30pm. He was there when we got home. Fed him, went to a local restaurant less than 10 mins walk away, was there for about an hour, and by the time we got home he was gone. He hasn't run away, I reckon he is lost as we don't think he has a good sense of direction. I just cannot believe how hard it is to find a cat!

We have left him at home with our other cat when we have been at work etc and he's always been there when we get home. Just don't know why this time is different.

So relieved. He has scratch and bitten my hand to fk but I don't care, he's home and that's all that matters.

Today's plans cancelled so we can spend the day with him to get him back used to us.

Thanks everyone for your support, it's helped keep my spirits up.

He was just over half a mile away. He has sat at the back of someone's house. Had been doing it since Monday night but they hadn't seen our poster.

As above. Yeah he was 1 road over. We had offered a reward but they do not want it. We are donating it to Great Ormond Street instead as both of her kids had been there previously.

Great news!

My old cat went missing for just under 6 months, got a call from a farmer about 2 miles away saying that Ferris had been living on his farm all that time, but had only let him get close enough to read my mobile number on his collar that day.

Cats eh? Hope your pair get on from now on.

Ungrateful little git. hehe Glad he is home.

FWIW I tend to scrub any scratches I get with antibacterial hand wash. The tend to come up less angry if I do that. smile

Isn't he just lol

I've washed with antibacterial handwash and put some germoline on. The little sod bit me as well and it's been a while since I had a tetinous injection lol
