My local rescue kennels are running an Easter competition on Facebook.

This lad popped up today - typo included. They have called him Henley.

Who could resist that Staffie smile! biggrin

This is Denzil - I rescued him from the local cat & dog shelter about 8 years ago now, they thought he was around 5 at the time.
He had no history at all, his only issue being he disliked larger dogs.
He has been the best dog I've had. He is getting on a bit now though and he's now deaf and on medication for dementia.
Still has mad moments but that usually results in limping around for the next few days.

although he does display that typical Staff trait of climbing stuff to get as high up as possible.
Not sure what you mean?

The brindle one is my boy I've had from a pup, Staffy x Pom, 14 this year.

Some beautiful doggies in this thread biggrin

Selgian by any chance? The boy is on that, hasn't half made a difference.

Half Staffie, half Yorkie (which must have been quite a feat for one of them) meet Monty

You can only really see his "Staffie-ness" when he's wet, his jaw and face are pure Staffie, the rest I can only think that either the Yorkie or the Staffie had a little bit of something else in there?

My daughter would hunt you down and kill you (right after she had killed me!)

Seriously he's the cuddliest dog I've ever had, he's on my lap with his nose stuffed up my armpit as I type!

Here's Matilda.

She's our third Staffie and is an absolute joy.

I've no idea why the 4th image is upside down.

Collected today from a rescue centre in North Shropshire, this is Dixie

She'll be our third Staffie, and she is utterly adorable and currently comatose on the sofa doing the Staffie Snore.

Unbelievably, found dumped on the streets as a stray

A beautiful brindle & white

Staffies are good exercise. I always run over the road when I see one approaching.

I got to take Henley, featured above, out on a walk this week.
As you can see, in real life he is absolutely terrifying!

Towards or away from? wink I have had people do both when walking mine! Now I am dog-less I am the odd ball that crosses the road to talk to the dog. biggrin

Just been to the local rescue to see if we can find a friend for our current rescue Bruce.

Met a really nice dog perfect temperament and got on well with Bruce. Absolutely perfect match, but my wife and I both looked at each other and said "It's not a staffie"

Once they're in your blood they stay there

My boy Alfie. Our 12 year old Rescue we got when he was around 18 months old. We think he has a bit of collie in him possibly.
