We have a small collection of cats the eldest being 17 now. They are all and have always been insured and I'm a great advocate of it. But the uote for the renewal of insurance for said 17 yr old has just come through. They want, wait for it £150 a month...
That's way over double last years and we thought that was enough. He's in pretty good shape really , sees the vet on a fairly regular basis for check ups and has only one regular meds, one to reduce protein excretion so he doesn't loose weight. He hasn't really cost them that much over the years.
I appreciate he's a poor risk but that's taking the proverbial surely.
So I'm after a more sympathetic company or it may be we just stop it and pay what is needed.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
David
