So sorry for your loss after 15 years with Locke. Lovely to have that first and last photo,I also did this along with first tooth loss and last curl in a wee box.

I’ve come to spend an hour or so with Alfie. He’s been amazing. Having a mad turn and lying on the floor playing and licking me! Such a rarity for a Chow. I’ve given him his dinner and he waited patiently for dessert. He has his own tub of diabetic ice cream. I swear I didn’t get this level of treatment when I grew up!

My sister took this dog in a few years ago as a rescue, we think he’s part staffy/possibly cairn terrier. Cracking dog, so well behaved and lovely. My favourite thing about him is the beautiful eyeliner he’s been gifted with, makes him look fabulous dahhhhling!

Not sure about Staffy or Cairn but there is the unmistakeable devilish glint of a Jack Russell in those eyes!

Possibly a touch of Border Terrier in there?

Whatever, he is gorgeous. His ears look lovely and soft too. I love the scruffy terriers, my brother has had two patterdales. One was very rough coated, the second less so, but she is getting more whiskers as she gets older.

It’s funny as my Sister says she thinks he’s a bit JR but my gran doesn’t really think he is. I agree that he’s got the look in his face/eye.

If I had to guess and I’m no expert I’d say borderjack

Love Alfie, he always looks so soft and cuddly like a big teddy! Dogs (or animals in general) do seem to have some sixth sense with this kind of thing, they always find a way to make you feel a bit better!

What a hound! Now that’s the face and stance of a dog who couldn’t give a fk about anything!
