Yes, was really great to see. He’s a rescue hound with some anxiety issues with male dogs, not helped by the lockdown periods since we got him. He’s generally better off lead than on lead but we really weren’t sure how he’d get along. Given the clear positive experience (the smile says it all) we’ll be making a point of taking him to some of those enclosed field set-ups where he can keep mixing with other dogs without fear of him latching on to a trail and disappearing over the horizon!

Thank you, she's a cockapoo but we keep her beard short as she doesn't drink, she just seems to dip her face in the water bowl.

Snoopy is growing a pace now...

Pickup day at 3 months and 3 weeks (due to Rabies vaccine needed as we got him in France) was approx 12 kg

Last week at 5 months - approx 16 kg now:

With his best friend and "Brother" Hans, the 34kg Weimaraner - straight ears optional:

After several trips to the vets recently in an attempt to get to the bottom of Lila’s lameness we received the news I've been dreading. A CT scan confirmed elbow dysplasia in one of her fore legs. I’m going to start a new thread on this as this site is about celebrating our wonderful hounds. Please keep the wonderful photos coming. I need cheering up right now.

So sorry to read this. She is a beautiful dog and your regular postings of her first year have been a delight. Good luck with the treatment. Dogs are amazingly resilient.

Anyway, a photo of another lab for you and everyone else. This is the best section of PH.

Monty on the mend

Two weeks ago, a small op to remove a lump on his eyelid...

Today he was given the all clear to lose the "Cone of Shame"

He needs a bit of a trim around the mush but his fur is growing back so he looks less like a Naked Mole Rat!

Oi!
