garmin users- update map help

i have a garmin with lifetime updates , went to uodate it last night and it made me choose between a list of uk , france , spain and so on

ideally id like to have chosen uk and spain but there wasnt a choice for both , any idea if i can go back and now select spain as well ?

If you have a choice it's probably because there is only room for one or the other on your device not both. The maps get bigger. Does your Garmin have an SD card slot to add storage?

yes it does have a card slot

is there a way to remove unwanted areas , wont be going to anywhere other than spain for a good while

right put a mem card into it , its showing up as space avail

i dont see any option to go back and select spain to add that?

I am not sure that the memory card was your problem.
I have a few garmin Satnavs with lifetime maps. When I have tried to update them and the memory is insufficient I received a warning message telling me to add a memory card. I didn’t get an option to select single countries only. When I added a card and then tried to update I got the full Europe map updated.
