We are getting these right up to our front door some some of the IR videos are good > never knew hedgehogs fought so much!!

Here is one of the 5 foxes that visits

WE can tell because of the diffeences in the tails

Pic was shot with camera outside front door and wireless remote
Problem is the domesticated vermin about 6 of the buggers are coming along and nicking the food we leave out

Is there food that cats will shun, but foxes and hogs still eat?

We have ruled out giving these critters lessons in orienteering/ taking them to a Cat rescue about 50 miles away/Shooting the buggers

All the above said in jest althought i dont like the owners leaving them out all night ( is there a law that says you MUST?)

I just want rid of them or make it as unfreindly as possible

Ultra sonic units etc anything legal and humane way in which i can stop them coming along would help but Reynard and Tiggywinkle still welcome

One of the buggers even gets in the hog house ( entrance just seen on left) and snaffles the food

I might even get one of those kiddies water cannons and take pot shots through the letterbox!!!!

Im unsure what you want to do.. do you want to feed the foxes or feed the cats?

Also shooting the buggers doesnt sound cool at all.

Isn't the accepted methode du jure to beat the foxes cats to death with a cricket bat whilst wearing your wife's dressing gown, or is that only for barristers? scratchchin

Lol, i dont know how you can stop the cats coming to eat. Unless opening the door and shooting them with water lol. It is getting colder out there now though so i wouldnt like to wet a cat through.

I know my neighbours ones dont visit here anymore after i made hissing noises at them a few times, i like them but i like my wild birds more haha.

We are on the same page lol

I am even tempted to try and find a place where i can get cheap chicken bits to put on the garage roof to attract the Kites

What i cannot understand is why people get cats and the shove them out of the house for most of the 24hrs
The other week when we had a coupe of days of constant rain there were several looking like drowned rats/ and the people that own them actually try and justify their actions

The neighbour opposite has a house cat. never lets it out Warm house, nice bed, food on tap. what is there not to like from a feline point of view

I i don't mind squirrels in the garden, at least they give me a laugh trying to get the bird food

Foxes will, apparently, eat rotten meat that even dogs will not touch, let alone cats.

Of course, you might consider decorating your garden with rotting carcasses to be an unsuitable method of discouraging scavenging cats.

If i was a cat id prefer to have a cat flap and come and go as i wanted. I like watch squirrels battling for nuts too lol. I always make sure their fed too.

For cheap chicken bits maybe a butcher, or even buy cheap 1 day old chicks from reptile stores for 10p each i think they are. Although they are mainly skin and bone. Or try find a falconary store they must stock something. Can also order it over internet.
