Mr Huge Eyes is finally content after devouring nearly half of my fish and chips takeaway earlier. The boy loves his fish.

Stronger and stronger as the weeks go on. Front right paw is a bit wobbly/unsteady at times. But he manages to walk just fine.

Initially, right after the attack - he’s rear right paw was spasming a lot. On its own accord. But he’s getting there.

Started to show “interest” in cats. hehe

I’m/we’re safeguarding him now (when outdoors), but he shows no fear to other dogs.

Love Jussi!

The little bits of grey just add to her character.....
Jussi is a he (although for a change, I’ve got the angle right and managed to avoid getting his bits in this shot!). The white fur is the ACD bit of him. He’s always had these half dozen or so white furs right at the top of his til and the grey muzzle and ruff - people always thought he was older because of his grey schnozz.

We were out for a walk in the dunes at six this morning, GF set a cracking pace. She’s about a foot shorter than I am but moves a lot quicker. I’d try and blame my duff leg, but the honest truth is I’m just unfit and overweight! Jussi is now sleeping after all the excitement.

He still doesn’t quite get how his bed works…

He’s too tired to care!

Today’s walk stats (some of them). I keep meaning to stick my older Suunto watch onto him, to compare how far he goes to how far we go.

He’s a GSD x ACD cross. The white and red fur are the ACD bits, but hard to get in a photo. Hes a lot more ginger in real life but only about the size of a big Labrador, so about 3/4 “normal” GSD size.

More fun is that it's nations walking month, where they are trying to persuade people to walk 20 mins per day. Our company has a competition of who will walk the most steps. I'm in almost 300k at the moment, but I've velcroed an old samsung phone to Asha for every walk and it thinks she's done almost 2 million biggrin Obviously it counts dog steps as x 2 or 3
