Lovely. I work my dogs so see loads of spaniels. Don't see tricolour cockers very often. I think they're fab.

I have never had a dog do that, but I did have a cat 35 years ago who came to bed with us (open plan house, so no choice) and came and snuggled on my shoulder, his nose against my ear, purring loudly. That actually really sends me to sleep.

I would find a couple of hours later that he would be wrapped around the top of my head, and then at 3.24 am precisely he would wake me up to let him out of the house to go mousing.
Always 3.24 by the bedside digital clock, never 3.23 or 3.25.
Either he could read the bedside digital clock, or his body clock had been set by the Greenwich Observatory at birth.

Although Wilf looks clean he is drying out from a dip in the pond and smells accordingly. Shower time when you get home lad!

Drove to work today as knew it’d be too hot to walk home. Stopped off to take my obligatory new motor photos…

The lovely Puca is going to his new home tomorrow

We are sad that he is going as he has been a pleasure to foster. His new owners are half our age which is so important for a young dog
