She was a little spark of a dog. Jack Russell temperament. Fetcher of balls, digger of holes, swimmer of rivers and chaser of rodents.

I spent countless days walking the fields with her in my early 20s.

An old lady when Misty arrived.

We still had a slide in the garden when we had a brood of cocker pups (10 years ago), they had a whale of a time on it (relaxion time between sessions of destroying the rest of the garden), hope he takes full advantage too.

We’ve finally done the lowest point of the U.K., Holme Fen. Just the most central, Northern and highest left now.

Love this information sign with the couple and their dog Seth and I did also reenact this

Took Buddy (the brindle Lurcher) out first thing for a few hours. He’d been rehomed but unfortunately it didn’t work out, he gets on well with me so we had a good adventure.

Took him back and then borrowed my mate Tucker for the day. Drove him to my favourite Sunday morning local walk up to a trig point on the moors - he loved sniffing for deer!

Came back to my car and brought him to our house, Tucker was very inquisitive but quickly settled and had some chill out time.

MrsRNP arrived home and Tucker was excited to see her again, shortly afterwards we went to Drop Off cafe (good cycling cafe in Edenfield), Tucker was well behaved and is well behaved around food.

Took him back to Bleakholt where he was super excited to see Jane his kennel supervisor.

We are taking it slow with Tucker - his past is unknown due to being picked up as a stray and he’s exactly the opposite of Bert so even though we can offer him a nice home/life I don’t want it to go wrong and Tucker have to be returned back to Bleakholt.

He is a gorgeous boy! Will keep my fingers crossed for you all. On another topic, your house looks very beautiful and I think my parents had the same coffee table!!

Edith is not convinced by car meets, but likes meeting doggy friends and getting cuddles.

Thanks, we absolutely love our house. 'The Garage' was originally an outbuilding for the Victorian era foundry that was opposite, it later became the stables for an undertakers next door. It then became a RAC garage followed by being a local haulage company HGV garage. It then fell into disrepair until a mutual friend bought and renovated it. Its where I met MrsRNP and we eventually bought it off our mutual friend.

The table is a G-Plan astro. We like mid century furniture....... hopefully Tucker won't like chewing it!

Our front door!

Anyway back to doggo's!

Maple's first experience of the sea and she absolutely loved it!

Visiting my folks in Sussex (beach was Lancing) who definitely don't have dog-friendly sofa and carpet colours (especially at the end of her first season), but she made this little rug her crash pad.

Hi Gretchen, spent many hours in Holme Fen at my grandparents there. Grandfather was the village blacksmith.
Are you at Yarwell again in the near furure?
