Thanks for the birthday wishes. Mum had a new live in carer (after an awful negligent one and a big complaint from me) move in yesterday so we’ve had the afternoon off to do a shop for cleaning products after the mess left!

I called it retail therapy. Seth wasn’t impressed hehe

He's been with us a week and a half now. Settled in really well, got a good routine. Apart from being a bit bitey at times but that is to be expected when teething. He is a lovely little lad!

Thanks, not my pics, I'm too busy trying to watch him and don't get the chance of taking pictures, I did manage to get a short videos below

We went in the V70, there was zero chance of me leaving the Bentley in that car park, it would have been tanned when I got back... eek

Is the big lad in those pics a Leonberger? My ex-business partner had one, talk about gentle giant!

@Antony Moxey

He's a German Shepherd called Marin and he's a gentle giant, this was the first time we met him and it was his first time at the beach. He's a rescue dog between 3 and 4 years old. Sadly he drank too much salt water and paid for it later in the evening. His owner sat up until 4:00 this morning giving him a small amount of water every hour and he seems fine now.

Ah, cheers, he's a big lad! My boy Stan's the same with sea water (chasing a ball into the sea). Last time he was fighting with his brother over a ball and both drank half the English Channel. Anyway (and stop eating now for ten minutes) both needed a poo, so did the usual, then again, then again. They did about eight each in total in about five minutes, each more watery than the previous one, with the last ones being pure, clear water (visual confirmation only). Once they got home they drank about a gallon of scummy water from the back garden and were right as rain after!

Hamish, desperate for anyone to take his toy off him and throw it....anywhere. Despite only having been awake for 5 minutes, its time to play fetch. Inside. At full speed whenever possible.

He's training for the circus.

Ring has a 4" section missing. He rolls around playing with it. He somehow managed to get it there himself. Once he got it on he couldn't get it off so was walking about like that until I took it off.

Never a dull moment with spaniels.
