She was the softest, daftest doggo imaginable. I guess we should be grateful we got almost 15 years with her, but today is full of sadness.
I dont know if you have lost dogs before, but it does get better, clichéd as it sounds........................Something that resonated with me, is you knowing that you and your family loved her for the last 15 years.
However, she loved you for all her amazing life.
It’s a quote that really gets me when I read sad notes like that Chris. Sincerest condolences.

I dont know if you have lost dogs before, but it does get better, clichéd as it sounds........................Young Frank was attacked today by an off lead Lab (Frank on his lead) with no owner in sight.
The usual ‘oh he’s never done that before’ as my daughter was booting the Lab to make it let go of Franks neck.
Really riles me when this happens - totally irresponsible to let your dog off lead and not have sight of it.
Anyway, he’s ok and no physical damage.
Time will tell how he is on tomorrow’s walk.
Pic, just because…

Hope Young Frank is Ok tomorrow
So sorry to hear this.
Was there any actual physical damage to young Frank?
I see this occasionally with a male dog trying to show dominance over another male dog, especially if the one being pinned down still has his conkers.
Whilst it looks awful and sounds even worse, I have never actually seen blood drawn.
Hopefully this wasn't the case with Frank.

Terrible to hear about this, and so much worse for Frank and those who saw the attack. The lamp posts on paths through green areas around here have stickers talking of £1000 fines, it doesn't mean anything. No physical damage is wonderful news - virtual hugs to Frank, you and your family. The usual oh he s never done that before as my daughter was booting the Lab to make it let go of Franks neck.

Thanks all.
No blood drawn thankfully.
And yes, he still has his plums intact as he s only 9 months old.
We’ve often found with the Bostons the lack of tail and flat face means other dogs can’t ‘read’ them like they can with ‘normal’ dogs - which is fine as you can prepare for that.
That this dog came out of nowhere and just went straight for him was concerning.
He was very subdued and clingy all morning, but now seems to be back to his normal self, giving his bits an airing
