Love this. It’s the face I pulled earlier after Seth had half my BBQ Lamb. Sorry Reggie. I’d have shared with you.

The wife is worried, with the weather getting better and the dogs spending more time in the garden just chilling, will Barry get a sunburnt tongue:

Hamish.
Very proud of himself for ripping the end off his new toy in very little time...and equally for leaving the stuffing all over the lawn.

So tomorrow will be a somewhat bittersweet day for me. It’ll be a year to the day that we lost Archie, who to this day remains the best friend I’ve ever had. I still think about him all the time, and I miss him greatly ( and am now welling up just writing this FFS)…

However, prophetically, it’s Stanley’s birthday and he’ll be a mighty one! Yes, unbeknown to us at the time, the day we lost Arch was the day that Stan was born. He’s got a way to go yet, but he’s doing his best to fill the big dog’s shoes and I wouldn’t be without him. Dogs eh, who’d ’ave ‘em? biggrin

I do like an Airehead - lovely fluffy nutters.

Here is Jasper, a friend's Airedale puppy, busy murdering my (much bigger) adult lab/collie cross.

Happy birthday to Stan

Our second dog was Bramble, a flat coated retriever.

He died of cancer at 7 1/2.

He was my mate. I don’t know why we never had another as every time I meet one I go week at the knees.

This was him with our first dog, Pippin the Collie. Plus a much slimmer me
