I guess you are asking about my Staffy ?His name is Baloo and was bred near Perigueux in South West France, where we live.
Not too sure how big he'll be, but he's 10.5 kg now and we guess he'll end up around 20kg.
His training is progressing but with the current extreme heat, it is difficult to spend much time outside for proper training. As he is our 3rd Staffy, we have some things we need to concentrate more on such as recall !
My late JRT, Lucky Eddie, never responded to "walk" but knew "beach" all right. He also recognised euphemisms like "the B place" and "Sandy".
JRTs are smart little buggers.
My current JRT, Cookie has gone blind but in old age has learned many guide words. Stop, Wait, Cross, Left/Right, This way, Other way.
Clever girl.
She can also do it in Spanish and Norwegian.

We now live in Ireland and have the lovely Meeko who was a failed Guide Dog.
He is now nearly eight and is a therapy dog at the local.old people s home and an ambassador dog for guide dogs.
We volunteer for Guide Dogs Ireland,attending fundraisers and occasionally fostering.
We have also had 7 weeks old puppies for socialising.
The best looking was Varley, below, now a working guide dog
We expect our first pup *very* soon

OT, but I had one of those paddling pools and it was left folded up in a corner in the back garden. I got it out the other day, unfolded it and found it was full of slugs.
To add insult to injury, after I got rid of them, gave it a clean then started to fill it up I discovered it was leaking so it ended up in the bin!

Been away in the caravan this weekend so was late getting to Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary and Tucker today. It was then too warm for a walk so I played with him for an hour or so in one of Bleakholts play area’s.

Dogs and beaches are the best combination...
we had a Staffy as well, took her to the beach, all she wanted to do was dig, when the tide started coming in it filled one of her holes, as it ebbed away again she tried to dig it out again.So clever we never really taught her anything, she just seemed to know what to do when told.
