I had one of these when I was a kid. She was a lovely, friendly little thing who liked nothing better than sitting on people's shoulders and being stroked. RIP Emerald.

Lovely, are they difficult to look after?

Not so much difficult as hard work. 300 gallon tank that needs two 75 gallon water changes every week, due to the amount of food they consume.

The picture shows the rays at about 14" diameter, they're now over 20" now

Do you have chewing problems with your wabbit? One of mine has a penchant for curtains and shoelaces at the moment.
that is litrally the only downside, has a thing for leather, any shoes etc left about get nibbled

but he has free run of the hall/lounge so we just dump our stuff in our rooms out of harms way
Ours used to go mad for the rubber buttons on the remote controls and nibbled them all off.

Anyhow. Not got rabbits anymore but here's Basil and Sybil (they are like owning a dog)

Hope your neighbours are miles away - we have a couple in close proximity to our house and they're a bloody pain in the arse - very noisy.

We spent an enjoyable time this afternoon dredging a pond that is going to covered over tomorrow to rescue the frogs and toads in there and bring them back to our pond....... funny little things and damb slippery

Mad as a box of frogs!!

Introducing them to their new home

Checking out the new pad

I'm guessing the big one is a toad?

Not actually pets strictly speaking, but from the money they make they may as well be...
