How to repair a flexi lead webbing?

Surprise, surprise the puppy has chewed through the webbing.
How or where is the best way place to get anew bit of webbing looped between the cord and the latch?
It looks like they use some kind of strong glue as there are no stitches in the current one.
Is there a webbing I could buy the would be more chew proof?
