Ooh, Croatia eh? My first thought when I looked at the style of the buildings in the foreground was Italy and the mountains in the background resemble the Italian basalt mountains. If we're in Croatia then, are we up in the north west bit, east across the bay from Venice?

(google maps suggests it's a mere 20 km from the Italian border to the Croation border so might not be too far wrong there. Unless I'm completely wrong).

I spy the influence of Venice - trouble is the buggers wandered all over the Med so that's of little help.

Ive seen that in a nature programme, some rare beasties have it as their habitat. Cant for the life of me remeber where it is though. Lol
