Como & Northern Italy - prebook hotels?
Discussion
Flying into Milan this weekend and the plan is to spend 1 day & night in MIlan and the other 2 days and nights around Lake Como with some good driving thrown in.
I know the higher altitude passes like Stelvio will be closed but any recommendations for visiting this time of year?
And for hotels, should I spend time researching and lock in my route or is it easy (and cheap - £25 per night budget, I'm traveling solo) to find places en route on the day?
