Need to park at Manchester airport for a week next month (flying from T2 if that makes a difference). The place I've used for years has closed down (real shame as they were excellent).
Any suggestions please so I don't leave my car with a bunch of cowboys whole will joy ride it all over the north west?
Thanks.

Twice in recent weeks we've booked a space for several days in the multi storey right adjacent to the terminal.

You can pull your cases into the terminal in two minutes. Have a look at their online booking. You could be pleasantly surprised at the price.

Actualy the long stay car park is a reasonable walk from the terminal. Generally I fly from T1 or T3 which use a car park which is less than 5 minutes away.

T2's car park is a little further, but it's only 10 minutes walk or thereabouts, and is easy enough. Google Manchester Airport Parking. I never use off-airport parking these days at Manchester as the on-site ones are so convenient and pretty competitive in pricing terms.

Last time (about 3 weeks ago) I used the Multi-storey right next to T1 as the pricing offer was almost the same as the Long Stay outdoor car park. Usually though they are a bit more expensive for the Multi's.

Jetparks 1 or 2 are fairly nearby, free bus every 5-10 minutes and pretty cheap compared to the rest. ( Being a cheapskate I book Jetparks 3 which is the same but 15 minutes bus ride.)
For God's sake, don't ever use the Meet and Greet service. I parked at far end of T1 long stay once and nearly got creamed by 3 separate drivers screwing the nuts off someone's p&j. Two of them were leaving the compound so would have been stone-cold!

Walk - what's wrong with the shuttle bus?

I've used the meet & greet for the last three years, last time was four days ago ( very ph trip to Bahrain for the gp)

As convenient as the multi story but without the worry about not finding a space ( it happens ! We almost missed a flight to no spaces)

Cheaper than the multi generally, and your in your car within 10 minutes of leaving the terminal building.

Two reasons. I'm not bone bloody idle and it's quicker generally to walk, especially from the T1/3 car park, and even from T2 I can usually beat the bus unless it's there waiting as I arrive.

Ok, I'll give you that smile, although to be fair I must be lucky as I rarely get rained on when I park there. Even then, as I work outside most of the time it doesn't particularly bother me for the few minutes it takes.

Manchester has or will have quite a reduction in available car parking spaces this year regardless of which option suits you and your plans.
This is in part to the ongoing terminal development and also a major link road being built.
This applies to all car parks on the airport and whilst I can't go into too much detail it'll make for an interesting year. My advice is if you require parking get it booked as soon as possible.

This. Include the express security tickets too. Great if your traveling with kids.

Jetpark Ringway only cost £36 for 9 days and it's 5 mins shuttle journey from the terminals.

just pay on site at the multi-storey and walk to the terminal in the dry and warm. Why people inconvenience themselves massively by parking in a dodgy piece of waste ground in an entirely different town, just to save about £30 against the cost of a holiday which must surely have cost many, many times that is beyond me.

I was going to recommend T2 meet and greet - I've got a dashcam and review their driving - they've been nothing but calm and respectful from what I've seen.
