It was this one.
It’s not obvious from the street but in the photos you can see the steps and it has a big chain as a banister.
It’s not amazing but we went as a family and liked it.
Nice place for sunset looking over the marina from higher up.
Thanks, its on our to do list now!It was this one.

Heading back out to Playa Blanca on Friday...looking forward to a bit of doing bugger all again...
Doing bugger all is all you can do in Lanzarote, but it is nice doing it. Enjoy your stay. We are off to the The Algarve on Saturday. the weather forecast is good, fingers crossed. The weather was a bit hit and miss this March although there was no rain during the day. Watch out for the 3 Romanians walking around with clipboards trying to con you out of money for disabled people, just firmly but polity say no.
Oh and the Jungle bar thats now changed to the bikers beach club ... we went in twice, its not the same, beer has increased in price and the service was shocking.

We were in it at Christmas. Prices were up but the drinks were very strong (bacardi and JD) and the live music was great. We thought it was a change for the better.

Have a check on the harbour and see how the extension is going. It was a big pile of stones @ Christmas that they just seemed to be moving about.I'd be interested to hear about progress.
Supposedly going to allow cruise ships in when complete, which would be good.
TREAT is very good - worth seeking out (round the corner from popeyes).

The stage seems a little hidden or so I thought, it took 20 minutes to get a drink even though it wasn't busy something that never used to be the case. The Ice house was ok, Cafe Terreza was reasonable and the cakes pretty good.We thought it was a change for the better.
The harbour had 2 lorries, a ship and 2 JCB's when we were there in March, like you I think we are going to give it a miss for a year, i'm fancying Mallorca out of season or southern spain as the weather seems better. Or it will be Gran Canaria or Fuetevntura

That's unacceptable re waiting time though. Wasnt like that when we were there.
I'd like to see them "finish" some of the work off around playa Blanca but but a lot of the time progress seems half assed and then they lose interest.

Thanks, Lanzarote at this time of year is great for doing little other than relaxing with a good book, watching boats, gentle walks and probably eating and drinking too much. We have booked our usual trip to Lagos in Algarve in October, it's a whole family affair..two sons and their partners, and usually involves something like a Seat Alhambra (think Griswolds) Me and SWMBO have gone a bit "off piste" and booked somewhere new in May for a week, Mijas Pueblo, looks a nice place, only worry is it means flying Glasgow to Malaga and sharing a plane with "types" who like to holiday in places like Benalmadena, Toremolinos etc, what could possibly go wrong
Hopefully the 6.30 am flight means they won't be too hammered before boarding

My sister is in Lanzarote this week. Rain and overcast.
It's often pot luck.
TBH whilst we previously have been taking winter breaks to Lanzarote, we're going to be looking at other breaks as the weather frankly hasnt been that great this last couple of winters for us - certainly not dine outside in the evenings weather anyway. It's often pot luck.
Not sure what we'll do this winter.
I have taken regular Canary Island holidays in February and have been reasonably lucky with the weather.
Even in 2016 when the centre of Tenerife was under 10 feet of snow, it was still warm round the coast.
I've had generally good weather in Fuerteventura too although last year was beset by an Arctic wind for some of the week.
Gran Canaria in April 2015 was really hot but Lanzarote in April 2004 was a dull and rainy week.
The Canaries tend to be more reliable in September/October.
