Im off to Belfast next weekend, only found out yesterday, when I looked yesterday the flight was £120 which I thought was ok, went to book last night and it had gone upto £150, which really annoyed me.

Went to look just now and its £180 furious

Should I just bite the bullet at £180 and book ASAP as prices keep going up, or should I wait and they may drop again?

Thanks smile

That's just an "urban myth".

I'd just be booking, we had to go Edinburgh- belfast recently very last minute (funeral), booked flights at 9:00pm to fly out the next morning (only £50) which was fine. but trying to book flights home a couple of days later was a pain. loads of the flights were fully booked out and we had to just take what we could get and prices werent cheap.

You need to book ASAP as it's only going to get more expensive as the few remaining seats are sold; that's how low cost carriers can offer very cheap seats 6 months out.

Also don't keep searching, more searches = more popular flight, flight price goes up.

Ended up biting the bullet earlier, almost double the original price but at least it's booked and stops me worrying about it going up more

Thanks all

It most certainly is not a myth. Not sure that this is what is happening in this case though, given it is a flight a week away on a lo-co.
