1. The interior rattles!!!!!!

Ive had works desqueak it 4 times and they do get it right but it just doesnt last.

2. The weird surge when decelerating while cruise control is on.

3. The crazy thing that can happen at junctions when the car cannot decide 1st or 2nd gear and just leaves you stranded in the middle of the road until you let the revs drop and the car select a gear allowing you to continue just before the truck coming from the right wipes you out.

1. So does ours but nearly all our Astons have done smile to negate I drive with the roof down as much as possible so can’t hear.

2. Seldom use CC and never had that issue.

3. Never had that issue either but do always downshift on the paddles rather than let the car do it itself.

1.2012 V12V here, well used weekend driver with a monthly track drive. Completely rattle free, giving me a very positive view of Astons so far. There now I’ve jinxed it. Are the rattles usually associated with the roof then?
2,3. Well, it’s a manual.

With respect to 3, I've got an older Vanquish and if I'm defo gonna' come to a complete stop I'll let it downshift to 1st. If not, or there's any doubt about the stop being full-on, it's shift into 1st on the paddles well in advance. At least on the Vanquish, it eliminates gear uncertainty.

Well I love my V12VSR and have no rattles, never use cruise control, yes occasionally it catches me out when slowing down almost to a halt before setting off again but as said earlier a quick shift to 1st and not let the gearbox do its own thing solves that problem.

My car that I picked up new yesterday is full of rattles .
But I don’t really mind , you can’t hear them with roof down and when the roof is up , it’s character !!

Be patient. In a couple of years you may be able to add -

4. Corroded wing mirror arms.

5. Misted up exterior lights.

If mine is full of rattles, it'll be going back to them to try harder smile

The first few days of the water torture is manageable but 2 years in you really do want to set it on Fire biggrin

Front lights fogged up at 6 months old and were replaced under warranty.

Ah, I forgot about misted headlights! Mine has had the recall done which consists of putting a couple of dehumidifier bags in the headlights which didn't sort the problem.

Then this afternoon the sun came out, the roof came down, the right foot got busy and all was forgiven.

Absolutely love driving this car and at the 23 month point (twice as long as any other car ive had) it still feels like ive just picked it up.
I just never tire of its dynamics.

The rattles can be sorted. Maybe it just needs a fresh set of eyes (ears) on it.

Hmmm
Maybe I should take it back. I have the rattles and I have both headlights misting up. But that will mean the car going back to the garage. and less time driving it !!!!
I think I will live with the quirks. Anything else though and I may have to drop it back

Yep I get number 3 every now and again.
Embarrassing at lights when you select first, it's pauses then selects two, then finally puts you into first!
Dealer has looked into it a number of times but no fix as yet.

Exactly the same feeling.
Had mine over two years now and I can pretty much forgive it anything.
