If that’s the best you’ve got (and after being asked for it) then you’re not selling it to me.

Fields and trees, brill hehe

I bet Had ham has those to show too. Can’t. Wait.
I do. Thankfully no wires though.

Apparently his idyllic Hertfordshire rural view is more colourful.
Exactly what colours he expects to see in a rural view that could possibly surprise us, I don't know.
There's green, and some more green and err...oooh, there's a bit of green over there too.
Do you think you're trying toooooo hard, perchance?

I'm going to guess that you live in that 'OK' part of the world? laugh

Stevenage, Hatfield, St Albans or Cornwall....
Mmmm thats a difficult one,
Beautiful countryside, dramatic coastline, quaint little fishing villages, glorious coastal path to walk on sunny Sunday afternoon all on my doorstep, or....a trip to Hatfield for a day out.
Yep, you win hands down.

Bworld is on one of my local roads. The wife keeps threatening to take us there one afternoon "just to see what its like".
Not sodding likely.

Anyway, Cornwall is a hellish place. I have to cross over into the Godawful Satan county for our local Parkrun at Tamar Lakes. Always feel so much better crossing back over the border.

I'm just sat outside my local after a full Cornish and catching up on this thread.

Devon is nice enough, although they've no idea when it comes to cream teas or pasties.

I journied up to Goodwood at the weekend. 4 hours isn't too bad but I always feel a sense of relief when I pass back over the Cornish border. Personally I liked it when we had the old A30 and travelling down took best part of a day. It was an adventure and we'd stop on route, at places like Stone Henge. Now it's all modern speeds and mostly dual carriageways. I still wouldn't want to live anywhere else though.
