I was in Munich last October and the weather was fantastic then. Not sure if it was typical weather or if we just got lucky.

marrakech is interesting and weather should be good.

Or

Bratislava, weather might be a bit iffy at that time of year.

Krakow but not guaranteed of warm weather. Beautiful city and right size for a short trip. Cheap accommodation and living costs when you are there.

Kiev.

Should still be bright but turning chillier. Cracking city, cheap as chips too.

Not sure Kiev can be done with cheap air fares - can it ?

Seville gets a few showers in October sometimes, but temps should be 21 to 26,
Murcia is smaller, but a lovely city, with more than enough to keep you happy for 3 days, temps can reach 25 in October, but will realistically be between 20-24.

Paid £50 each way with Ukrainian air. Not the best flight time out there (2am landing) but good time to get into the city.

Depends on budget.

Just booked Fri-Sun late September in Milan via BA (flight and hotel). Decent hotel (Fifty House Milan), good timings on flights from LHR to Linate. Was £380 flights and hotel. Hotel on its own direct or via booking.com was over £300.

FIrst time I've used BA as I had assume they'd be over priced. Quite reasonable imho.

A few of us are looking at Kiev in mid October, BA are doing flights from Heathrow for about £120

Although i have never been, the ancient Bulgarian city of Plovdiv has been on my radar for a while now. Cheap flights, cheap city and should be similar weather to Athens
