Same here.

In January we are Tampa, Naples, Miami, Key West, Palm Beach, St. Augustine, Cedar Key, Tampa. All of it in a Dodge Challenger R/T.

That is my paradise trip. smile
Tampa's not paradise! wink
There are some pretty good "sites to see" there, though, but not if you're taking your Mrs.!
Rather than stay in Tampa, may I recommend St.Petersburg instead? The Vinoy Renaissance hotel is pretty nice there. smile

Each to their own, but driving around Florida is more hellish than paradise for me. Then again I do it in a rental scumcar.

yes

Too many Americans! hehewink

(Partly) joking - those Americans I've met overseas have largely been great people, whereas my experience of Floridians is generally the opposite...

Furteventura. Miles and miles of this all to ourselves in the middle of winter while the rest of Europe is freezing its tits off.

Good book, cold bottle of wine and some fresh prawns on a driftwood fire for lunch.

Mine was a small wooden hut in the jungle, at the top of Santa Marta Mountains in Colombia, in a small town called Minca.

Watching the sunset with a cold beer, listening to the bird calls and monkeys, with no other buildings or huts on our side of the mountain, looking out on to an undeveloped hillside.

Was a bh to hike up to with our backpacks though

My wife is Norwegian and we head over as much as possible. My 4 year old loves it now too so pretty much anytime us 3 are there it's my idea of paradise.

For me paradise is when there is nowhere else on earth I'd rather be at that point, money or company no object etc. Norway with the wife and kid always ticks that box like nowhere else.

Prior to the kid, staying in Gouldings Lodge with this view from our balcony was the one single time, despite many incredible holidays, where I'd felt anything like how I feel in certain parts of Norway now...

It would have to be here

Joking aside, I'd have to say that New Zealand's South Island is a pretty nice place to tour around , which is one of my favourite kinds of holiday.

And the photo was taken there! I probably should have saved it for a 'where was I' pic!

This image sums it up pretty well, having not been there I cannot comment but it looks amazing, thanks.

Aitutaki... Looks too good to be true! Just checked the flights and it would need to be part of a bigger travel arrangement to get there. Maybe when we retire! Great contribution.

One of the many national parks I have camped in the USA. Have to like quiet though. Usually for two nights before moving to the next.

Yeah...Raro used to be on ANZ-1's route: LHR-LAX-RAR-AUK, but looks like it's not anymore, which means it's a 3-hr each way detour ex-NZ...

...or in other words, more difficult to get to from the UK than anywhere except Antarctica! frown

I've owned a beautiful house on a Norwegian fjord, with a ski lift a few miles away, a farm on a Norwegian island, which my ex wife's family have had for 700 years, and my children will get one day i have a house on the beach in Java, and a nice apartment in both KL and Java, so most people idea of a paradise in there some where,
The truth is beyond holidays in the longer term paradise is not a place it's the people you are with.
