norwegian - anyone used them?

Flown many times with these and never had an issue, have flown all over Europe, Norway and also the USA from London/Oslo in the dream liner. Pretty good service everytime.
If you go into their own website you can search the calender by month giving you fairs for each day. Have flown to New York state Newburgh Stewart and it took around one and a quarter hours to get to Manhattan but that was a late flight. Also have flown into Boston, Denver and JFK from Oslo all at less than £250 return with just luggage.

They fly into JFK.
I think it is a good service. You can avoid all frills and get a very good price and the planes on the London NYC route are 787’s, quiet with nice big windows. I would recommend.
Their premium section is a long way from business class though, no flatbed seats or fine dining.

Obviously they don't just fly to the outer airport at Stewart - oops
Stewart was about 2 hours from our plane from Edinburgh landing to being in our Manhattan hotel. It is such a small airport it’s quick to get through and out of. The shuttle bus is efficient and convenient. So, not 2-3 hour north. As for the flights they were fine, and good value for what they were. The food wasn’t brilliant, but for 6 hours not a major issue. I’d use them again.
We used them this year from Edinburgh to Stewart, thought they were pretty good for what we paid, shuttle bus takes about hour and a half to central NY. As above it's a tiny airport so not a lot of time wasted standing in line etc. Would use them again..but doubt very much I would go back to NY, not really a big City fan but did it as it was a special occasion family holiday. Had a more enjoyable week in the Lakes in June

Lucky with traffic then - this is NYC we're talking about. As for the flights they were fine, and good value for what they were. The food wasn’t brilliant, but for 6 hours not a major issue. I’d use them again.

I suspect that if you staying in Manhattan then the plane to hotel time from Stewart won't be any worse than from JFK.On the subject of Norwegian, the only negative feedback I've seen is that they have a small fleet so if there is an issue with a plane then there's more impact/delay compared to a massive airline that can whip up a new aircraft more easily.

Did you see what happened to Air France this week?777 Flight from CDG to Shanghai diverted to Irkutsk with tech problems. Passengers locked in a hotel (no visas). AF flew a replacement 777 out a day later - that also encountered a tech problem. So they flew a 3rd 777 out to Irkutsk. At one point it looked like AF were opening a new hub in Sibera
